The USDA Graduate School and Pacific Islands Training Initiative sponsored a week-long training session on Team Developed Audit Reports for the Office of the National Public Auditor and Pohnpei State Auditor's Office. The training was held at the FSM- Telecom from May 1-5, 2006 , and was conducted by Elizabeth Cohn. There were a total of 17 participants at the training, consisting of the Public Auditors from the FSM National Government Mr. Haser Hainrick and Pohnpei State , Mr. Annes Leben and their staff. Yolanda Leben , a Staff Auditor from the National Government commented: “I learned a lot from it (training). It helps you step by step on how to do Team Developed Audits, especially performance audits.” Another auditor, Aisi Mori stated, “I t was really helpful. I learned how to define the five stages of report development, define the timing of story conference during the course of an audit and be able to describe and practice audit selection methods”

The training was a success and Mr. Hainrick would like to thank the USDA Graduate School and PITI for their generosity in funding Ms. Cohn to help further staff growth and development.
